This blog will chronicle the adventures that are to take place over the ensuing year.  The travels are beginning with a backpacking extravaganza with Thomas, my brother, through various countries in Europe.  We’re traveling using the “fly by the seat of your pants” technique; in other words, we have no plan.  After that trip, I get to start a whole other adventure, going to university in Scotland for a year.  Hopefully this blog will help keep friends and family, as well as random people, entertained as I get to deal with the highs and lows of being a world adventurer.
